Random picture

Have you ever just set your camera down and taken a picture of whatever is in it's way?  I did.

Earlier this month I was in Wyoming with Carl and took a little walk with camera in hand.  I ended up near some railroad tracks and had that very thought.

I set the camera down on the ground near my feet and took the picture.  Here is what I got:

Just thought I would share.  I see more of these types of pictures in my future.

Eatin'..Shoppin'...and Shootin'

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We were able to get together with my family at my sister's house. Unfortunately I forgot my camera.

Jake wanted to go do a little Black Friday shopping so out we headed.  Fortunately for us, living in the country doesn't give us a lot of places to choose from.  It was quick and painless.

Saturday we went and did a little skeet shooting with some neighbors.  We went through lots of clay pigeons and ammunition.  Lots of fun was had and lots of laughs were shared.

Setting up more targets - after we ran out of clay pigeons.  The kids went and found the pieces and strategically placed them in the sage brush

It was a fun afternoon - it helped that the weather was beautiful.

Another Angel in Heaven

Last week we got word that Heaven received another angel.  My Uncle Blain (my dad's brother) had been battling health problems for several years and is now free from his pain.  We were lucky enough to be able to go visit him just last month.  He has always been a very giving person and was always glad to see us when we did visit.  I leave you with a few pictures that were taken at that last visit.

This great man will always hold a special place in my heart.  I'm so proud to call him Uncle.
