Scrapbook time

Here are a couple pictures of scrapbook pages that I have been working on. I can't decide which hobby I want to focus on so it seems to change weekly. The last few weeks it has been scrapbooking. What will it be next week? You'll have to wait and see. Maybe by the time the twins graduate from high school they may have some sort of scrapbook to look at.

Activity Day girls

Today the Activity Day girls from our ward went to the temple for their activity. I was able to go along and hang out with them. Those are only half of the girls that were able to go. The leader completely forgot that it was a holiday weekend when she planned it. The girls that went had a good time. The little girl 3rd from the left is actually moving this next week to Idaho Falls. So we were glad that she was able to go with us.

Bargain shopping

So Sierra had birthday money that she wanted to spend and where best to go but to Shoes on a Shoestring, which is a big store of nothing but shoes. She was determined to get some Converses. While she was looking at the shoes, I headed off to the clearance section to see if I could find me some new gym shoes (that's the only department I can afford to shop in). Sierra couldn't decided which shoes to buy until I found these two pairs for her in the same clearance section. She was so excited because now she could get two pairs for less than the cost of one pair at the front of the store. What a bargain shopper!!!

Dance, Dance, Dance

Alexis started taking dance lessons a few weeks ago and is having a great time. Here are a couple pictures of her today at dance practice. She's getting pretty good at those splits, doing better than I can.

Signs of Spring

Spring has sprung here in New Mexico. Along with the wind, which is a constant thing this time of year, there are signs of new life in our yard. Here is a picture of my first rose. Hopefully all the rosebushes (3) will do good this year. But this one was so pretty I just couldn't help but take a picture.
